A year ago, DeFi Orbit was an app. You added a wallet, and your liquidity and lending positions showed up with the numbers a spreadsheet could never keep straight: fees, PnL, impermanent loss, range, risk.
To make that app work, we had to build something bigger than an app. Indexers for every protocol we support. A calculation engine that treats every position by the same rules. A history that starts at a position’s first on-chain event, not the day you signed up. All of it real time.
That infrastructure was always the real product. Today we’re opening it up.
DeFi Orbit is now four things that run on one data layer: Portfolio, the app you know; the API Platform; DeFi Orbit AI; and Portfolio Enterprise. Here is what each one is, who it’s for, and why we built it.
The API Platform: our data, in your product
The most common request we got this year didn’t come from LPs. It came from the people building for them: funds with internal dashboards, market makers with risk systems, developers shipping wallets and analytics tools. They all asked the same thing. Can we get the numbers without the app?
Now you can. The API Platform returns finished positions for Uniswap V3, Aerodrome, Orca, Aave, Morpho and Kamino, across ten networks. One REST call per wallet or position, and the response includes range and in-range status, collected and uncollected fees, PnL, impermanent loss, health factor and liquidation data, and the full event history behind it.
No indexers to run. No RPC bills. No formulas to write and defend. The calculations are the same ones Portfolio uses, documented so you can check them, and real time on every request.

DeFi Orbit AI: ask your assistant, get the chain’s answer
AI assistants are good at a lot of things. Knowing what your Uniswap V3 position earned last week isn’t one of them, because that number lives on-chain, not in a model.
DeFi Orbit AI fixes that. It’s a hosted MCP server, the standard way to give an assistant tools, with 52 read-only tools covering every protocol in the API. Connect it to Claude, Cursor or any MCP-compatible client, and you can ask “which of my positions are out of range?” or “what’s the health factor on my Kamino loan?” and get an answer calculated from live data.
Every tool is read-only. Nothing can sign, send or approve. It runs on the same API key and the same credits, so there’s nothing extra to set up or pay for.
We built this because our own team started asking assistants questions about positions and got confident, wrong answers. If you’re building agents on DeFi data, this is the layer that keeps them honest.

Portfolio Enterprise: for the people who report to others
Some of our most active users don’t manage their own money. They manage it for clients, for a fund, or for a trading desk, and they answer to investors, auditors and partners who want numbers on a specific date, traceable to the chain.
Portfolio Enterprise is Portfolio built for that job. Each client gets a sub-account with its own wallets and a share link they can open without an account. Your team gets multi-user access. Reports carry daily snapshots, the full event history and PDF or CSV exports, so a value on any date can be checked against on-chain activity. White-label views put your name on what clients see, and an audit trail keeps archived wallets available long after a mandate ends.

Our first enterprise client manages stablecoin liquidity for institutions and has built internal software on top of our data. That’s the shape of what Enterprise is for: teams whose reporting has to hold up.
Enterprise is priced per team on an annual contract. Book a demo and we’ll set it up around how you report.

Portfolio isn’t going anywhere
If you use Portfolio today, nothing changes for you except that it gets better faster. Every protocol and network we add for the API lands in the app at the same time, because it’s the same data. Robinhood Chain arrived this week for exactly that reason.

We started DeFi Orbit because tracking positions in a spreadsheet cost one of us a liquidation. That’s still the problem we care about. We just found out that funds, market makers and builders have the same problem with more zeros on it.
Where to start
- 1Using Portfolio? Open the app. The changelog lists everything new.
- 2Building something? Get an API key at platform.defiorbit.xyz. 500 credits for $10 covers every endpoint.
- 3Working with an AI assistant? Connect DeFi Orbit AI. The setup guide is in the docs.
- 4Reporting to clients or investors? Book a demo for Portfolio Enterprise. I run them myself.
Thank you to everyone who has used DeFi Orbit, told us what was wrong, and asked for more. This is the more.
